Implant placement surgery in a healed extraction site with plenty of bone and a placement guide can be a very predictable procedure. After preparation and local anesthesia the placement of the implant will only take about 20 minutes. We take radiographs throughout the process to make sure that the implant isn't encroaching on to adjacent teeth or other vital structures, we also want to ensure that the implant is placed at a proper depth.
